The Medieval Knight School from Time Jump Histories is an exciting, hands-on historical experience where children are transported back to the age of knights, castles and chivalry.
Led by Sir John Courtenay, 14th Earl of Devon, participants will discover the life of a medieval knight and experience what it was like to train as a young squire preparing for the path to knighthood.
⚔️ Squire Training
Children will be put through their paces as they undertake a series of fun medieval challenges, including:
- 🏇 Mock Jousting – test your balance, bravery and accuracy.
- ⚔️ Sword Skills – learn the basics of medieval swordsmanship using safe training equipment.
- 🛡️ Shield Training – discover how a knight used their shield for defence.
- 🏰 Knightly Challenges – take on a variety of traditional skills and tests.
- 👑 The Path to Knighthood – learn about the journey from page and squire to fully-fledged knight.
- 📜 Medieval Life – discover the world, duties and responsibilities of a medieval knight.
