The Ancient Egypt interactive school workshop offers students a hands-on experience exploring the culture, history, and daily life of this fascinating civilisation.
Through interactive storytelling, role-playing, and artefact exploration, students gain a deeper understanding of ancient Egyptian society, religion, and innovations, making history both educational and engaging.
- Dress-up time - The children have the opportunity to dress up as characters to help tell the story around the workshop.
- Gods of Egypt - Children participate by becoming different Gods and telling the call how they are and what they do.
- Key figures ofAncient Egypt- Discover, Ancient Egypt, Tutankhamun, Alexander the Great, Cleopatra.
- Hieroglyphic code cracking - Working in pairs, use hieroglyphs to crack the code! Students will use the symbols to determine the names of the Egyptian gods.

Map of Tutankhamun's Tomb - This activity includes a beautifully hand-drawn diagram of what a typical Egyptian tomb might have looked like in ancient times. Working in pairs, the children’s task is to work out what the names of the sections are and write them in.
