This workshop Describes the people, events and everyday life of medieval Britain.

workshop offers 

  1. Dress Up Time: we provide costumes for the children to dress up to help tell the stories. 

  2. Life at the medieval manor: Hands-on experiences like dressing up in period-appropriate hats and adopting character cards to role-play different medieval figures—such as a squire, a merchant, or a blacksmith.

  3. The Black Death: Discover how the plague travelled across Europe and its effects on the People  
  4. The Peasants'Revolt: In 1381 was caused by anger at raised taxes and a freeze on wage rises 
  5. The Hundred Years War: In 1337, Edward III of England claimed the right to rule all France and so began the series of wars known as the Hundred Years War.
